Lauren Pennington

About this Speaker

Lauren graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2014 with her bachelor’s degree in Business. After graduation, Lauren decided to continue her education by earning her Masters of Accounting from Belmont University. After obtaining her master’s degree, she was determined to become a Certified Public Accountant. Therefore, she passed her test to achieve the designation of CPA.

With her education complete, Lauren worked in public accounting with KPMG for a little over 2 years. Working there, she formed a basis for accounting, auditing, and financial consultation. At KPMG, Lauren worked as an entry level accounting before getting promoted to Senior Accountant.

In 2017 Lauren wanted to change directions and accepted a position with a local home builder, Hidden Valley Homes. She currently serves as the lead accountant for HV Urban, an affiliate company of Hidden Valley Homes, where she handles the accounting records. She is also involved in the selling and marketing of homes-specifically performing competitive analysis’s and merchandising the brand that has been built throughout the greater Nashville area. In addition to working for Hidden Valley Homes, Lauren obtained her real estate license and joined The Designated Agency brokerage.
