Mia Keller moved to Nashville as a singer-songwriter who quickly transitioned into the world of commercial real estate where’s she’s worked now for over 10 years. Mia is currently a Director of Real Estate at Sonder, a San Francisco based, tech-enabled, apartment-style hospitality company that offers professionally operated alternate accommodations across the globe. She leads Sonder’s Nashville real estate business development and deal-making efforts to lease multifamily buildings, office conversions, ground-up build-to-suits, and hotels for Sonder’s use. To date, Mia has negotiated numerous Sonder leases resulting in a portfolio with a total consideration of over $300 million. Prior to her position at Sonder, Mia was a retail investment sales broker at CBRE, where she facilitated approximately $500 million in commercial real estate transactions for her clients. Mia has a highly diverse skill set and a deep knowledge of various asset types. She considers her greatest strengths to be her negotiation skills, empathy, creativity, courage, and grit.
